  • Pheasant hunt

Had a chance to join some coworkers pheasant hunting Saturday. boy what a great time. it was a bit cold (teens), but the wind wasn't too bad. The dogs did a great job getting the birds up. So we got 8 out of the 10. 1 got pushed out of our bounds and we never found the 10th one.

I recommend that anyone that has the chance to go that you take the offer

Very nice! My gun club has a property and "sub-club" for pheasants. Never hunted a day in my life (aside from fishing) but could definitely see getting into something like this. I think its an extra $400 per year though which isn't in the cards right now. Maybe in a couple of years when my son is older.

I really like hunting pheasants. But recently there is a question confused me. Rifle scope or dot sight, which one is more suitable for ar15 to hunt? I read an article about ar15 scopes. But I am still confused. If the scope is better, how about this kind of LPVO scope?

Sounds like you had a fantastic pheasant hunting trip with your coworkers! Despite the chilly weather, it seems the conditions were good and the dogs did their part by flushing out the birds. Bringing home 8 pheasants out of 10 is a successful outing, especially considering one escaped the hunt.

This is a great recommendation for anyone who gets the opportunity to go pheasant hunting. It sounds like a memorable experience filled with teamwork with the dogs and the camaraderie of hunting with coworkers.
