  • Today We Salute Mr. Robert Wright....

....for going above and beyond to rescue what is near and dear to his heart from potential loss in a fire.

“I was barbecuing man, and I see this fire just come out of the window and the window busted out,” Wright told KMPH photojournalist Ryan Hudgins, who was on scene covering the fire.

“The only thing I think first man, ‘make sure them ribs is right,'” Wright continued.

“I got my kids first, first thing I got my kids, and then I thought about my ribs, like ‘I don’t wanna let my ribs burn and stuff,’ cause I take pride in what I do, man.”
That's right folks. Mr. Wright risked his life to save a glorious rack of barbecue ribs. This is the kind of dedication and heroism that makes grown men get all misty.

I'm glad he thought of his kids first...

Did you see the story about the guy who was nearly killed saving his dogs who jumped into some hot springs? Instinct takes over and you just do what needs to be done. The dogs died. The guy was airlifted out with severe burns. They think drought caused the hot springs to be hotter than normal. I forget where this happened but it was in one of the National Parks out west.

It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

If he can swing them around on the fork like that, they're not done.

Funny. There was also a Robert Wright in the 82nd Airborne who parachuted into France on D day.

I know this because one of the software developers I used to work with knew everything there was to know about WW2 and all the people and places in our test system were related to D day.
          Athiest. Because... science
