Just back. Seattle, Glacier National Park, Portland. All via Amtrak. Seattle: Meh. Reminds me of SF or DC Portland: cool town. Reminds me of Toronto - lots of little neighborhoods with cool restaurants and bars. Glacier: wow. Stunning scenery, awesome hiking, tons of wildlife. One day the wind shifted and the valley we were staying in filled up with smoke. Lots of fires burning right now. Aspens are some beautiful trees. Mountains are amazing. Amtrak: awesome. No body scanners or long lines. Walked on with bear spray, knives, a 6-pack and a bottle of wine. Nobody cares. Got a room on the train, beats coach by a lot. Next up: Arches or Zion
    Athiest. Because... science

24Pink, do you honestly believe this crowd are book club members? Do you think any of us would rather read your write-up as opposed to just seeing the pix?
Sounds like a nice trip but I'd prefer to say it 'looks' like a good trip.

Thanks for the write-up, now get with the program.

Sweet trip Bro. We took a ride a few hours south of Seattle into Rainier Nat park this morning, went up to see the trees....fuking amazing. I do suffer from vertigo so driving up the side of a mountain was azz-pucker at times when the right shoulder disappears and turns into a 2 foot wide strip of dirt between the car and a 1500 foot drop. Haven't these people heard of guard rails???

Hit one spot where the treeline broke and Rainier was standing there big as day, stopped to grab a pic or two:

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

            I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

What are you both out west? Sweet pics. Last time I was on a road where there was a 1,500' gap between guardrail and road was in 1985 in Switzerland with my Brother. Awesome times. You don't forget that!

AC is doing a West Coast trip with the wife, I'm doing a few days in Seattle with my daughter. It's kind of a cool coincidence actually, AC and I had lunch a couple of months ago so we knew we both being in the Pac NW at the same time.

You should consider bringing DG & BG. I bet they'd appreciate it too.

You crack me up. You're always commenting how people don't 'get' you. You don't get my sarcasm either. Didn't you see my wink after my comment?
