Wife "accidentally" dropped the platinum and diamond wedding band in Lake George this weekend. Hired some divers to help us out on Friday. You just can't make this Peshitta up! Where's Darth anyway?

 Wow, that sucks!

Sounds like a needle in a haystack search. "I ask, Sir, what is dinner? It is the whole chicken. To pluck the chicken is the best and most effectual way to prepare them." "I ask, Sir, what is dinner? It is the whole chicken. To pluck the chicken is the best and most effectual way to prepare them."
 Colonel Sanders

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Relax bro, she may not like me but she likes platinum and diamonds, LOL.Originally posted by masterswimmer View PostSorry to hear this bro.

Are you implying that she meant to throw it overboard since you quoted accidentally? Never would have thought that about your bride.

Actually we brought one of my son's friends up for the weekend and he saw the ring on the boat (my wife takes it off when she put's sunscreen on) and dropped it. Peshitta storm's happen... no worries...

I'm hopefully optimistic we'll recover it this weekend.

I once lost my wallet in same bay. Hanging with a guy on his boat a year later. Next day he finds my wallet, opens it up and say's this guy was just hanging with me yesterday! Gave it to the guy I was hanging with and I got it back next day. Still have it, LOL....

Good Karma in LG, I'm not sweating it.

Awe man, now that extra blows. F worrying about "on record" this is the one time you need them and pay them for. I had my wifes on the plan, couple rough patches in the late 2000s, I was just bout ready for her to "accidentally" lose it fishing too...but calmer heads prevailed (she wouldn't let me)Originally posted by Cgrutt View PostNo insurance claim for me. Barely cover the deductible and I'd rather not have it on my record. Yeah, I'll eat this one just like the rest...

Couple questions...Originally posted by Cgrutt View PostWife "accidentally" dropped the platinum and diamond wedding band in Lake George this weekend. Hired some divers to help us out on Friday. You just can't make this Peshitta up! Where's Darth anyway?

How in world would you know where to start the divers search if it was lost? And, sounds mighty expensive to hire divers to search for someone so small, but a week after the initial loss gives sooo much time for currents and natural movement of the water to definitely move it from place to place. Unless they're just friends helping out, I'd save my money on that. But way to many days are going to have passed for any real chance of griding it into search zones that make sense in my opinion.
