Not bad for a few hours in the middle of the day, we stopped counting after about 20 or so. Mostly Sunnies, Blue Gills but a few decent small mouths thrown in. Amazing what a difference live bait makes LOL. Were using worms and crayfish. Worms got most of the action but the crayfish yielded bigger fish and better fights. He even caught two on a hook wiith no bait! Great time with the boy on a sunny afternoon in Lake George...

We have had good luck using both live worms and either tan/chartreuse or tan/orange tailed lizzards. Last week I did well with of all things purple worms scented with salt and garlic. Can't make this Peshitta up folks, they were on clearance for $.79 so I figured what the hell. As a kid we used pickled pork rind and daredevils with good results.
Going to try bread balls or canned corn on small hooks and a 6-7 wt fly rod tomorrow for carp. We found a place where they can be found on a regular basis and figure it should be a blast to hook one with a fly rod.I must say I love beavers.
