Been thinking about learning how to fly fish this year. Anyone on here into the sport? Suggestions on how to get started?

No suggestions but something I always wanted to learn to do. Not sure where you're from but there was lots of fly fishing in Rosco/Livingston Manner area back in the day ("trout town" if I recall correctly). Might be some sport shops in that neck of the woods that can point you in right direction. Love to hear more about this.

Varmint223--there are local chapters here, though, I haven't heard about any of them offering classes on either casting or flytying. Some of those flys are truly works of art!
Thanks for the vid Gunner57!

My wife loves to fly-fish and is an instructor at a woman's clinic every summer, she also helps out with project healing waters. She got started at the woman's clinic she now instructs at. I know she originally bought a combo set up from a big box store and some knee waders. I will ask her for any info she might have when I get home. What you talkin' 'bout Willis?
