    Biggest Muskie.........



    I ever caught, heck only Muskie I ever caught lol. It took at least 10 minutes to finally land it and I brought it next to the boat 5 times before we got it in. and our net was way to small. Luckily one of the guys was willing to reach down and grab it out of the water (and also bring his cell phone to take picture).

    Just like our net our tape measure wasn't long enough but we conservatively estimate it at 42 inches and 20 to 22 pounds.

    Funny thing was I had just got a new rod reel combo and the heaviest line they had for fireline was 6 lbs so I bought that. When we got up there I asked the other guys if that line was going to be strong enough and they said for what we catch it will be fine. So needless to say I think I got really lucky being able to get that thing in the boat considering my tackle lol. I bought the new rod/reel combo because the drag stopped working on my other one so I got lucky that this one worked!

    That thing is crazy. I never caught anything close to that big.
    They can't stop us let them try. For heavy metal we will die!!!

    Snowflakes are great!!! You can roll them around into a giant mass and shove a carrot in their ........

      That is one amazing fish. The biggest fish I caught was about from your right hand to the fish tail. lol
      I fish from a kayak so I would probably freak out if that monster were on the end of the line. Would it hurt the fish if you cut the line leaving the hook in his mouth? I thing I would be inclined to do that since I don't carry a net and I wouldn't want that beast flipping around in my kayak.

            LOD were you on the camping trip by chance? If at all possible you should get hook out but if you cant then its better to leave it and cut the line to give them a chance.

            When I brought the fish to the surface the first time and on saw part of its side I was in shock lol and didn't know what to think. In fact I was just reeling it in even though line was being taken out by it. After I caught it I was done fishing for the day and my legs didn't stop shaking for a while.

              I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

                          If I ever catch fish bigger I might just stop fishing unless I just target bigger fish with guide last year I saw a garr(?) And wanted to catch it so bad but it wouldn't bite. Only time I saw one in real life
