  • Smoking pulled pork!

    Trying new way today with smoking it until 165 then going to finish in oven until it hits 200 internal temp. I peaked already and know I shouldn't have but it is starting to look good already!

      That looks amazing. I'm taking a different direction today. Harvested my garlic scapes yesterday and am making scape pesto.

        Thanks! Starting to look even better now! Just got back home and temp spiked a little so not worried about another peek.

          Off smoker and in oven. Only waited till 150 IT . In oven at 305 to speed things up a bit and it's uncovered.

            That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

            I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

            I could have been enjoying his nuts.

              That's not that much lol, last time years ago I cooked 4 at once lol. Gong to start pulling it apart in a little bit.

                    I can't move lol, it was good. When shredding I added some extra run to mix and when making my sandwiches I mixed in some sweet baby Ray's sauce. For wood I used apple and pecan when smoking.

                              Didn't have enough charcoal, I was lazy, I already smoked it for 4 or 5 hrs and I found the instructions on manly BBQ website for doing in oven as well lol.
