No actually. It's not a kids toy BUT the construction is not that great. If they would use a better material, I could see that being of some use and yes ... it will kill small game no problem when it works. It would also require a fair amount of practice to become accurate with it. Cool concept, just not something reliable for the BOB at this point. Many are going with the older fiberglass recurve or longbows. Most of them can be found in 35# or more even. The fiberglass isn't affected by elements like a wooden bow is. They're fairly compact as well. Oh one thing to mention as well, when they do the speed tests in the video, they are using the "pro" boot. That is MUCH harder to pull back versus the black standard boot. It's alittle misleading BUT they will send a smaller projectile through around 350fps. Something like a 1/4" ball bearing really zips out of this thing.
