So tripped to some free states recently and met a guy who makes custom long bows. Something I've always wanted and now have the room for. So one afternoon in Portland after a few delicious and quite big IPA's I decided to pull the trigger.
40# draw at 29". 66" worth of bow. This is the cheapest, most basic model he makes.
Got my 8yo son a cheap bow for his bday, plus a target. Great fun together even though we don't hit the target much.
