That's a pretty picture of the lake. Awesome that you found that pan and gave her a new home.
It's funny how we trust the weather reports as often as they are wrong. I got lucky last week and did 2 days of tarpless hammock camping and came out dry. It's pretty amazing when you live in the city and then you go camping where there is no white noise. Damn the stars are beautiful!!!!

I saw something online about seasoning cast iron with flax seed oil? Gives it a harder and smoother finish. I going to try it on the next Re-seasoning I have to do!

No flaxseed oil, it flakes off. Use Crisco
