C the hammocks are enclosed too or some are at least with bug netting.

Once you sleep in one you never want to sleep on the ground again.

Be in Buffalo next weekend, 12th and 13th, baby sitting our grand daughter. Any plans to go to the gun show, I'm going to head over. Need anything from the Albany area let me know and I can bring it with in reason, traveling in my wife's CRV.
I'd like to check out you set up, we're staying in Amherst, Washington Parkway and Main cross streets.
I must say I love beavers.

I'll know more about 12th weekend by Tuesday. Any good trees set about 15ft apart in their yard? If not I have a hammock stand as well.
        keep you posted.
ps If in town I'll probably pass on the show. I have most of the firearms I'm interested in except the ones that FUAC got banned and I'm set for like a decade on ammo. lol

I'll jump in late here - First year using hammocks exclusively - as stated by everyone that finds the right hang ..... I'll never use a tent again ( see my tent for sale ad ) .
I tried a few different brands that some friends had and I found that the best bang for the buck - and the one I could get most comfy in ( for me anyways ) was the Tom Claytor jungle hammocks .
$150 shipped double bottom , net , diamond fly. solid as a rock ... a few complaints ... Ship time was a bit long - and the material was not in the color ordered - they asked first if substitution was ok ...
Have not purchased/made an under quilt yet .... but soon. This spring I took one of those thin mylar coated windshield sun shields and put in the bottom of the hammock and even with just a sleeping bag and that at around 30 to 35 degrees I was good. I am a cool sleeper but the sun shield trick did bump up the warmth.
anyways if you are keeping in a small budget you should check out the Claytors .. also read about the guy .... he has done a lot of Peshitta.
