So who's got a SHTF buddy?

At this point it's family. Have a bro in within 40 minutes and and bro in law in VT for long term bug out. In reality can't go too far as have parents to look after.

There are a couple of people that would probably consider me their shtf buddy, but no one I would really put on that list. I have a few people that I know would be there to help me without question, but unfortunately, beyond showing up, those few people are pretty useless as far as skillets and preparedness.

I have 2 for sure right now. And, I think if things went pear shaped, glockdude and I would, at a minimum, provide each other with mutual assistance as needed. Generally speaking, we would be headed in the same direction for at least part of the way.

We should probably talk about that a bit more. Huh?

I have one friend that is a big time prepper and we have each other's back for sure. I also have met some forum members in my area and we keep in contact just in case SHTF. It's really hard to judge how some people would react if something really happened, a lot of bullPeshittaters out there.

I always joke around with my hunting buddie about if I called him and said the ATF was at my door and I wasn't going down without a fight, would he come in for back up.
