    Growing roses

    So I planted some knockout roses out front maybe 2 weeks ago. Only one of them has been budding but the other two have what I found out to be called rose hips.

    Apparently rose hips are made when the rose is pollenated. From what little I have read it seems roses are cousins of the apple and other fruit. I also read that all rosehips from any variety of rose is edible.

    Anyone try them before? How do you prepare them? I heard they are very high in vitamin C too when fresh but lose it rapidly when dried.

      Man card??? He dropped his man card so long ago he can't even see it in his rear view mirror anymore! The lawn cart solidified it.

                Just steep the rosehip into a tea. I don't recommend eating them, as they have little "hairs" inside that can be pretty irritating in your throat.
                Then, go wrestle a bear to make sure your junk still dangles.
                Politicians are like diapers. They both need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
