Wish I had something to add. I want a reasonable bright reasonable priced light as well. Everytime I buy one the following day something better appears. Some people swear by rechargeable but I haven't had such great luck with them. Replaced one of my mag lights at work with a coast 280 lumen and pretty happy with that at work. Saw some 320 lumen on clearance at Lowes tonight for $21 and change, seemed plenty bright in the store but not sure outside.
I must say I love beavers.

Darthgamer over at the other place suggested the Fenix L22. It's in my cart on amazon. I may get one soon.

I have all sort of models and brands..
here is another I got a few of them after reading the consumer reports reviews and beating flashlights 10 times this price
including some brutal testing. Also due to the fact they take AA type batteries that are the main type I have in both lithium and for recharging.

The have another model with 2 AA that is less potent but also ran them over with car and toss it into the water and fire.
So far they perform as advertised. Pretty rugged for that kind of money.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Thread closed, OP decided to go old school. Here's a pic of him testing out his new light last night:

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

            I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I used to run 4 Hella European floods on my Blazer in Arizona, could see a country mile and hurt your eyes when going through a construction zone. I wish buying a damn flashlight was that easy. Think I'll pick up the 320 Lumen (3 AA batteries) at Lowe's if there are any left next time I"m there.

Yeah, I'll eventually put a light bar on the John deere, but will prolly go with rims and a lift kit first.

Picked this up at Lowes, on clearance and additional 25% off and then my Military discount cost $14 and change. Happy, happy, happy for what I spent. Go grab one while they still have them, woth the money. Uses 4 AAA batteries. Sorry I didn't snag the other one left.

I have a 310 lumen flashlight I got from Wildman for secret santa last year. The thing is effing bright! Has a few different settings including strobe. Runs on 2 AA batteries. I rarely leave home without it!
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.
