That's pretty cool too! I like the idea of portable boat for island camping and ability to go fishing in a boat where I don't need trailer and all that.

I hate it when they don't show the price. You have to contact them for pricing info. That usually means it REAL expensive.

I have an idea to make one that would be very affordable and while not foldable to a suitcase it will fit on a minivan or small pickup bed.
Easy and functional. And it will never sink even half broken. This would be a nice weekend DIY project.

I would recommend staying away from the inflatables unless you're just looking to float and drink beer. They are fine for that, not so much at being a kayak. They handle terribly and get abused by the wind and the obvious issue of springing a leak. Save up your dough and get something portable that not a toy.
Or you could build this Bad Boy!!!! I built the shearwater sport hybrid. Cedar strip deck.
Not showing direct link for some reason it's Sectional Shearwater Sport

Nope! That was my green and blue plastic kayaks. The green one was the one that those d-bags pushed over the dam. Good thing it wasn't my cedar strip or someone would have been looking down the wrong end of a shotty!!!!
You saw my cedar on here or the old place. I posted it a couple times. I'm pretty proud of it. So here she is again!!!

That is a really cool portable boat USMC,I like that it looks like you could mount ether a little trolling motor possibly even a small 6hp or little bigger, but in all I think a trolling motor should be big enough to get you around, the only downside is you would need a battery to run the trolling motor or a gas can for a 6hp motor which looks like you would have room in the back to place them..

It would also be great to use around the bays or rivers and get into the swamps, the only downside I would see with one of these is do not get caught in the wind with it especially in the middle of a lake..

Now I know he did not show himself standing up in it but I wonder how stable it be if you wanted to stand, looks like you would have to be sitting all the time but seeing it being a small portable boat I think it be best to sit and not trying to stand in it for any long periods unless your by your self or you have a friend with you, just hopefully your friend will not try to pull a joke on you and make the boat rock and put you in the drink..lol

                              Clarence
I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft
