NYMAG, That's a new one on me, heck I tried to google it and got nothing but a lot of NY'er magazine pap, over and over. The mention of the words 'mutual assistance' did it though, found it. They got anything near the western fence of this gulag?

I'm with the school of though, know who you trust and trust who you truly know. The closest thing to that is the 3%. I spent 26 years Active Duty and worked with and deployed to combat zones with several hundred different people on various deployments . Know of 15 or 20 that I would truly trust with a secrete, my life or my families life. That being said maybe that number is low, but that is me. It is very hard for human nature to be truly life dependent on another human being for life, liberty and the pursuit of freedom. Our forefathers whom liberated this country, those whom followed in there footsteps in succeeding wars, truly know what it takes to stand up to tyranny, and our government is infringing on our rights because of a bunch of over educated nimrods who don't have a clue and feel they know better. Make a list of them whom could survive or sustain themselves for any period of time if the Peshitta Hit The Fan or the grid went down. All we can do is network with one another, FTF, no electronic bullPeshitta, no mail, no messages, to the point that across the state or country we develop trusting friendships to obtain, secure or transfer needed resources to support one another based up on intelligence, security and logistics to meet the goal of survival. Trust me, if the grid goes down, the cities will be like roach motel at night, they'll be coming out of the wood work looking for anything and everything for their own survival and you as an individual won't stand a chance, but collectively we can stand our ground. Gangs will increase and send out cells to rape, pillage and plunder anything and everything weather they need it or not and not only you, but your family will need to be ready to protect yourselves and your resources as all costs. If they disarm us, join the world of total dis-arm everyone, do you really think the bad guys are going to just up and say, here take mine! They'll mow down the politicians and create their own world of sheeple, through fear and intimidation. Hell terrorists and government is already doing that, i guess some things never change.

A battle buddy that you have served with under combat situations instills a bond that others will never know, nor many others could even phantom.
