          2 meter j-pole. Not sure if it's working properly I don't have antenna analyzer or right connector for my radio. It seems to be hitting local repeater (I key mike send tone and receive a signal transmit back (green light)) but nobody's on air tonight, lol. I missed the weekly net at local club.

          This is pretty much it. I tuned it to 146.485, the frequency local repeater uses, so measurements are slightly different (by 32nds of inch)..

              Yep. DC short but it's supposed to resonate between the long and short uprights. Everything below the connection between two has no impact on performance.

                  Got 1.3 SWR @69 Ohms at 146.48MHZ. Not too bad for first attempt. Still haven't made contact probably will need to wait until Wed night net with local HAM club
