Karma for Garand or 03 guys on AvidArms. I would like to offer complete maintenance service including accurizing to meet "as issued" match rules for an M1 Garand or Springfield 03. Will include stock cleaning (without removing patina) and three coats of Lin-Speed hand rubbed. Any springs or minor parts that are out of spec replaced at FOC. Will appraise value for you as well.

count me in, your pick on which one to do, be warned, my numbers are down from the 13 that I had at one time. I had one safe dedicated to Garands, 03's, 17's with a couple of carbines thrown in. Pretty funny the day that the guy who does my FFL transactions walks in and I opened the safe door, he looks in, then at me, then in the safe again and then at me and doesn't say a thing, finally he says, HOW? How does a guy like you end up with this?

Still kicking myself for not buying the Roland Beaver Match Rifle I put up for sale that belonged to a friend after he passed away. Could have had that one for $2000. If your not familiar with Roland, look him up. only building a few rifles a year these days.I must say I love beavers.Comment

Roland is building a 1903A4 for me at this time for use in vintage sniper matches. Can't wait to get it as it will be my second Old Corps Armory prepared rifle. Unfortunately Roland is laid up after major heart surgery late this past summer. His son is building all Garands and 14's now and Roland is working the 03's. I spoke with him back in August and he joked that his son was not yet up to snuff on 03 work so he cannot retire yet.
He is one of the best wood rifle armorers ever turned out by our armed services and when he is gone there will be a great big hole that will be tough to fill.Comment

Okay, the Christmas Karma has ended and harleyhutch is the recipient of some tender loving care of an M1 Garand. hh, what part of the country is Johnston in? We will need to make arrangements for the handoff.
