Yesterday I went to Orchard Park to dig my parents out of the snow. They hadn't been able to get out since last Monday, they had a huge amount of snow on their roof that was causing concern, and they were getting low on food. So I showed up there at 8am with groceries, shovels, my snow blower, and extra fuel. Travel ban was still in effect but I didn't see any cops.

After shoveling out their driveway just enough so they could get out, and roof raking a metric Peshitta ton of snow off their roof, I worked my way over to their elderly neighbor's house. Her roof had dangerous looking drifts handing off so I raked those off too. When done I asked if she needed anything, and she said all she wanted was a hug, since she was so glad someone came by to help. That made the trip all worthwhile.

There is a County Bar around the corner from me(kinda a Redneck Cheers) the owner past away 3 years ago and it's been run by his wife and daughters since. Well they have always let others use the place for wedding/birthday parties/ benefits! Well the Mother and two of the girls were in a car accident awhile back, One girl just got out of a wheelchair, the other is still recovering from severe head injury. Well there was a benefit for them this time! Spaghetti dinner, 4 bands played, people and businesses donated for the live/silent auctions ( the brick of 22 I donated went for $60.00) all total $11.200.00 was raised!! Now that was Karma!!

Well, I went and cleaned a totally disgusting house today. Only got the livingroom and family room cleaned. Took me 4 hours. Charged her half of what I usually do and only took that cuz she insisted. She hasn't worked for almost 8 months and can't really afford me, but she has no cartilage left in either of her knees which makes walking very painful for her as she is not a small woman by ANY means. Then i proceeded to kick her two sons butts when they got home from school for being such disgusting slobs and not picking up after themselves since the majority of the disgustingness was their doing.

wait... did I negate my karma by doing that? Crap.

Actually what you did was EXACTLY what karma is.....paying it forward. Hopefully the mom and the two sons future wives will thank you!

bought a homeless guy coffee today. it was pretty clear he had some mental issues going on, but he was friendly and was wishing everyone a merry christmas. I felt for the guy.

We had a benefit for a buddy of mine over the summer. He needed (and has since received) a liver transplant.

I won a $25 gift card to Fat Bob's Smokehouse that hadn't been used.

I was there last night having dinner with my son for his birthday. Got up to go to the can. As I was coming out, I literally bumped into this young lady. So I asked her if she believed in karma. She said yes, so I said, "me too. Here's a $25 gift card for this place. Enjoy." Then I walked away.

I added 6000 SF of space back into Big Flashes new office after I spent a week deleting it.

I try to Karma whenever I get the opportunity. Haven't posted much about it. But in the last several weeks...

Alerted two people to their left behind credit cards - one was left on a counter of a pizza store the other dropped.
Picked up a glove from a HOTTIE on the ferry, she seemed relieved when she saw I was returning it, LOL.
Bought the same homeless guy breakfast three times over the winter most recently this morning, today he said God Bless you Sir.
Sitting next to a girl on the train, she got off at Secaucas. Chased her down and gave her her keys left on the seat.
Woke a girl up last night who fell asleep at last stop on ferry. Would have been a cold walk home, ha, ha. She came up to me and thanked me.
Tonight buying a couple bottles of wine a woman comes up behind me and I say throw them on my tab. She was like why? I said Instant karma, have a good weekend and pass it along. Girl behind the counter was like that's the single nicest thing I ever saw in front of my own eyes. I said that's just the little stuff pass it along...
I deleted Scars account a few times without any notice. Karma gives back sometimes too, LMFAO...

                      What have you got?

Bought a coffee for a police officer who left $ in car tonight. When she went out to get wallet I paid and walked out before she returned and told girl behind counter to tell officer it was a gift.
Ok I can go a couple ways

                              Spring cleaning:
Gave a neighbor a Troy Built tiller and my son in law a 20 foot retractable lead and car buffer.
I must say I love beavers.

I guess it's kinda a sickness but I do BELIEVE in karma. Not doing so good as of late. Still, sent a couple of guys on another forum some tools that they needed. No charge. Hey, I even picked up the postage. Bought a couple of knifes from a member of NYGF that will be up next (well at least one of them, may give one to my boy). Even sent him more than he asked as he has a new addition to the family and could use the support. Started this forum with no expectations of making anything from it but it has been a rewarding endeavor. Thanks most of all to USMC but also to you "regular" folks. You know who you are. Thank you. And God Bless. Spread the Karma, OK?
