    I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

        CS I think the spinner would have been my choice as I never used a bait caster reel before but I am always up to using something new..

        I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

            Ok you really do not have to CS..It is greatly appreciated that your doing this for me,I have to pick up a pole for it do you have any recommendations on good pole that will not break the bank next month to get?

              6'6" spinning rod like a Berkeley Lightning Rod. Walmart carries them. They are a one piece pole though so if you'd like a 2pc pole, I would then suggest an Ugly Stick rod.

                Sounds good CS,I get one next month to go fishing,I think the one piece is nice but also the 2 piece is nice if your storing also..

                          WOW thanks Chicken I never win anything LOL. I will let you know tomorrow as my 15 year old is a big fisherman. Its really Karma because he broke his reel this weekend at Camp. Thanks for the great Karma. I will have to throw a Karma out there soon.
