    Got a flat tire today UGH!

    Well I left Price Chopper in Wilton ( Which is under renovations) So on the way to my car I pickup a nail so someone wouldn't get a flat! Well don't you know it about 3 miles away I hear and feel this clomping sound, Pull off of Rt 9 on a side road sure enough flat on the drivers side rear. Well I have a portable compressor, I hook up and and young boy in a Jeep stops and asks if I need any help (very nice of him) I decline, I'm pumping up the tire with my compressor! Then a min. or two a lady stops a asks if I need any help, again I decline(very nice of her) Then I realize the tire is not filling, I can feel air coming out on top (Crap) I have to change the tire and no jack! Well then a lady comes out of her house across the road and asks if I need any help? This time yes I need a jack! She gets me one out of her Jeep. Well I change the tire and give her back her jack! This lady I am going to buy a Easter plant for and just wish I could also show my appreciation to the other lady and young boy!! It doesn't happen much but these three people made my day!!!!!!
    PS the tire was a goner big nasty piece of metal in it UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Sorry to hear about your flat! How many have you had over a lifetime? I've lost count. Most of them I was able to fix myself though.

      I do still have a flat tire from last fall that I haven't fixed yet. I'll have to fix it this weekend before I put the summer tires back on.

      That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

      I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

      I could have been enjoying his nuts.

          I am sorry to hear about the flat. That is awesome though at all the people who stopped and offered help and that when you needed it the lady across the street came out to ask as well. Karma works in mysterious ways sometimes!

                        Well I stopped by on Easter Sunday at the house of the lady that loaned me the car jack last Monday to give her a little something of my appreciation a nice Easter plant! I really felt good to have karma go full circle!! I don't know why photo uploaded like this?
