Had some friends and family over today for my boy's b-day today. Got to talking guns with my BIL (always talk guns with him) and one of my best friends (never talk guns with him). BIL commented he went to a gun show in PA yesterday and said there was a lot of 22 available... for $50 a brick (ugh). Was surprised to find out my friend had a 22 but no ammo and he wanted to shoot with his boys. So as everybody was leaving I tossed him a couple bricks of 22 and said go have fun with your boys. He really seemed to appreciate the gesture as much as I appreciated he wanted to shoot with his boys (I spend a lot of time with him and his family in LG and never had a clue he had a 22 or wanted to shoot, lol). Karma works in mysterious ways. Try tossing it around once in a while, it may surprise you!

Now friend has gun and ammo. Shame he can't just go out into the wood and plink at some targets, Pisses me off that with all State land we still have to pay to shoot.High Peaks Guru, but prefers twin peaks
we will need a separate class for my wife and for my girlfriend.

Not sure where he's going to shoot actually but we both have friends with property that we can use (upstate in Lake George area). I think he has a buddy in Kingston area with enough property. Personally, I like being a member of a gun club. Established range. Burms. Like minded people. Well worth the price of admission as far as I'm concerned.

I have a friend I never knew was into the shooting sports. Then I come to find out he has a .22 bolt action single shot. We went shooting, I gave him a brick of .22 also. He then acquired a 9mm carbine. Then he goes and gets an unrestricted CCP from NYS and puts a Glock 17 on it. Gets himself some reloading equipment and surpasses me on the NSA radar! lol Nice to have him aboard
Nice karma CG. You could have possibly directed him to the dark side
