Went to leave the house this afternoon and see all the kids down the street gathered under a tree. A few days ago there was a car stuck up in the tree. Well I saw someone with a ladder there and later that evening everyone was gone so I figured they got him down. Well I stopped to see whats up and I guess its the same cat and still stuck in the tree. The neighborhood kids were there with a can of tuna and a fully extended roof rake lol. The poor cat was so desperate that he was trying to get on the roof rake to get down. He has been there for 2 days now. I guess they called the fire department, police and even animal control but no one seemed to care. Best part is the sheriffs and fire station I can see from my house. I know damn well a fire truck hasn't left the station in days and they couldn't be bothered driving 500 yards to help for 10 minutes!
So anyways I called the girlfriends father and had him bring over his huge extension ladder. I'm no fan of ladders or heights but I climbed my fat butt up there. Even his ladder was a little to short but the cat was so happy to see me he was able to get down somewhat close to me then jumped on to me. So yea I guess you could say I am a hero LOL.
