I've got a 2004 Maytag dryer and GE washer in my garage and I want them gone. I just replaced them a couple weeks ago and both still work fine. The dryer squeaks a little bit but other than that everything runs great. I can help transport them to anyone who wants them in the Rochester area.

Put them in storage for when your fancy new computer operated ones crap out in 2 years and the repair cost is more than they're worth.
(There's a reason the old ones "still work fine" after almost 18 years.......)Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own
I have to bend over too far
I get a boner.
bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!
I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

The thought has already occurred to me that these old style units will probably outlast the 10 year old fancy ones we upgraded to. That dryer is a piece of cake to work on, and the Sears website ifor parts is surprisingly pleasant to use. They gotta go though.Originally posted by thughes View PostPut them in storage for when your fancy new computer operated ones crap out in 2 years and the repair cost is more than they're worth.

Listed them on Facebook Marketplace since nobody seems interested in them here. Already starting to wonder if that was a bad idea.
