Haven't had the best go at it as of late. Dropped my boy off to his first movie without adult supervision and took the wife to a local Mexican restaurant for some dinner and a few Margaritas. We both needed it, LOL... This older gentleman comes to the table and asks if he could share his music with us. I said sure. He had a great voice and played beautifully but I couldn't help but focus on his guitar which he says is 47 years old. I asked him if termites were moving in from the spot worn down from playing, lol. He was a genuinely nice guy and we struck up a conversation. I said you know what? I've got to pick my son up from the movies but I'll be back. We returned a little while later with a Yamaha guitar that is almost identical to the one he had. It was given to me by a friend about 20 years ago and has sat unused ever since. Time for a new home and somebody who could appreciate it. The gentleman seemed beside himself. He said, "Mr. Chris, come around sometime" as I was leaving. In the words of Arnold, "I'll be back"...
