    Time for another karma...

    Saw a thread on NYGF about this poster that seems to have some interest.



    Just so happens I have one (I believe it was given to me by either Sailor Jerry or Gunner). Well it's just sitting in my basement so figured I'd pass it along to somebody who would put it to better use.

    To enter post what your favorite cartridge is and tell us why or a brief history about it. Winner drawn randomly January 31st.

    22lr because it's the best round for introducing new shooters, and cheap ammo for trigger time for all shooters!

        .358 Winchester, probably the most under rated big game cartridge capable of taking all big game in North America, and is a short action cartridge to boot.

                I'm in. The gun care area could use some decorations.

                Edit: The .222 will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only is it a superbly accurate cartridge that was very influential on the firearms industry, but it's also the chambering of the rifle my grandfather built for me before he passed away.

                  In please, I like the .243 RCBS. It is a wildcat with next to no case taper and a blown out shoulder. It does everything the .243 does only better.

                    Just seeing this one now.

                    I'm gonna go with the .308 Win. There's hardly a more versatile cartridge out there, you can find a load to do just about any job that you want.

                      9mm - for no other reason than that is what is loaded in my gun, that is sitting on my hip.

                        Since no one has said it, .357 magnum. powerful enough short range punch even in short barrel carry wheel gun.
                        Fun to shoot in longer barreled pistols and even useful enough in carbines. Love that you can run 38 specials in 357 chambers.
                        lots of history in it too, especially since its been around for 80+ years
