I was a member of "the other forum" as well. I was googling around for more NY gun forums since the conversation there tends to run only political and I've noticed a lot of the key members posting less. Well after looking awhile here, it's obvious where some of the conversation has gone so I'd like in. Looking forward to sharing information with my like minded gun toting patriots. I hope I can contribute valuable information to the conversation.

To add an avatar to your account, please visit your user profile. You can visit your User Profile by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and selecting "User Profile" from the drop down menu.
Once on your user profile, hover your mouse over the default avatar presented. You will be shown a link to upload your avatar. Click on it and follow the instructions on the screen. If you're avatar is too large, you will be provide with an opportunity to clip the image to fit.

Thanks, hey now I have an avatar. It was a bit weird on firefox. At first I didn't get any option on that page until I turned off adblock plus. Then It would show up "edit avatar", but as soon as I moved away from my avatar to click on it it disappeared. I finally figured out how to click drag my avatar to the "edit" box option and it opened a place where I could upload. Probably a bit of a bug with my specific browser. Anyway thanks for the help, as you can see, I got my image uploaded.
