Jumbo...ha! That's going to stick isn't it, lol! Pretty funny

I have no problem if anyone wants to go, although I haven't been to any of them. The only range I've been to in the area is the one Dr. Evil belongs to when I went shooting with him a while back. It's somewhere in Ulster County is all I know, lol! It was a nice range but I think it's for members only. I've heard there's a really nice one in Pleasant Valley but I know that one is members only for sure.

If I'm going to be smoking meats I need to keep an eye on things since the smoker I have uses charcoal to heat the wood chips I kinda need to be around to check on it. Like I said, if some of you want to go please feel free!
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.

Jim I will be more the Happy to hang out with by the smoker,I will have plenty of other times I will be able to go shoot, hell I am just very Happy to get away from home..

        Clarence
I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

Yeah, it takes me about 8 hours to do a brisket and I'll add charcoal and/ or wood chips as needed. I use mesquite wood BTW

I wanted to revisit this thread and see if anyone is still interested. I'd still like to do this but maybe around May 15th. I've been thrown a few curve balls recently and it's looking like the backyard is going to be somewhat of a swamp for at least the next few weeks. So, if any of you fine NYSG misfits are still interested let me know!! Menu is still the same except I may add my jalapeno/habanero cheese bread...not for the weak, lol!

I'm thinking Saturday May 16th. How does that sound?

Oh crap. If you're flexible the 23rd or 24th would do, can't do weekend of of 16th but if everyone else can then by all means do what you got to do

Ok, I can do the 23rd. Don't want to change it much more since summer activities will start soon. So, how does the 23Rd sound for everyone? I'll give it until Saturday evening at 9 pm for everyone that's still interested to chime in. At that point I'll lock in the date and start gathering a head count.

23rd is good for me. I don't think I have anything going on then, but definitely couldn't have done the 16th.

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.
