    NYSG Cookout, Mid Hudson Area

    So I was thinking of having an NYSG cookout when it warms up in the spring. I say the spring not only because it will be warm but to have an alternative for people to hang out in case they are allergic to cats.

    We have plenty of room for people to crash if they want to do so. I was thinking of doing the usual burgers, hot dogs, chicken etc. If there's enough interest I will smoke a brisket as well!

    I'd like to extend this to any NYSG member but I realize a cross state travel may not be feasible for some members. So anyone in the mid Hudson area interested? If so I'll set a date, menu and so on to get things rolling. I don't have a shooting range to offer other than my pellet gun range in the basement but I thought it would be cool for some of us to hang out, shoot the chit and what not.

    Anyone interested let me know!

        Sounds good. I'm right across the river in Kingston.

            Kingston area... now that's drivable, just down the Hudson a bit. Sounds like fun!

                I was thinking maybe middle to end of April and definitely on a weekend.

                    What a wonderful idea!! Unfortunately, you let your intentions out by stating you wanna put me on grill!! Wanna see what happened to my cousin when he went to a cookout???



                    He got beheaded, plucked, a can shoved up his ass and then they cooked him!!!! So excuse me if I'm alittle skeptical about this "event" you're having!!!

                        Your cousin looks mighty tasty. I haven't done a beer can chicken in a long time.

                          That won't happen CS! Round here we batter and fry chicken. How do you feel about bathing in vegetable oil? I'll have a "special" hot tub just for you!
