I get the postcard notification since I'm an ESACA member. I'll try to sneak in Friday night and post whether they're doing both halls or just the big one.
Either last year or 2016 I picked up a 50ct. box of .357 for $20. I'm now down to my last box so I figured I'd pick up another today. Cheapest I saw was $26.
I thought ammo was supposed to be getting cheaper again.
Haven't been in a few years, maybe I'll stop over one of the days. Usually after wandering around for a couple hours I remember why I hadn't been in a couple years. Lol.
Main hall only. A lot of the usual suspects were there. There was a guy there with reloading stuff I've never seen before. I totally missed Frank. Not sure where he's set up. The country clerks office has people there. I didn't get there until closer to 11, but attendance seemed to be way down compared to previous years. It wasn't very crowded at all.
I don't recall ever seeing an AR pistol at the Rochester gun show until more recently. The SAFE act seems to be pushing people to find creative ways to work around it, and AR pistols would appear to be one of those ways. Another new way I'd never seen until this gun show is an extended trigger guard on a featureless build.
January 12-13, 2019 at the Rochester Dome Arena. Time to go back and look through the piles of overpriced items in search of the occasional deal. I missed a Ruger Single Six for $200 by about 5 minutes last time. Maybe my hunt for a deal will be more successful this time around.
