Although I tend to agree with you unfortunately word of mouth ain't cutting it. We need SM if we want to ever grow beyond the dozen or so active contributora and several dozen active lurkers lol.

Seriously, when you print new cards up, send me a hundred or so. I have a small card rack in my space with cards for gunsmiths, ffls, other trainers, etc. I've not been a scumbag to people so far, so they know if something is in my space and I recommend it, it would not be a total waste of their time. You would be surprised at the very low user density for gunowners with regards to forums. For every 10 people I meet maybe 2-3 are on a forum at all, with half of those going on very infrequently. The advent of smart phones is really helping. Older guys who used to balk at using anything but books are now looking up info off the web.Originally posted by Cgrutt View Post
