  • Do you carry at work?

Yesterday I received a random IM message from a coworker: "Do you ever carry at work?" This coworker is in another department. We talk, but I don't know him very well. Didn't even know he shoots until later in this conversation. No introduction or lead up to the question, he just asked it flat out.

Knowing not everyone likes guns, and knowing how gossip flows around he office, I'm glad he asked me over IM because I'm a terrible liar. Not wanting to cause issues for management, I just replied "no" and began a discussion to find out why he was asking. I then informed a member of management (who knows I carry) I had just been asked and that I said no. I figure that way if the coworker brings it up with management everyone can have their story straight.

    Anyone else carry at work?

It's highly impractical for me to carry at work, as I'm a GM dealership tech. My EDC still goes with me everyday, and is secured in my truck. If I ever moved out of the shop and into management or something of that nature, I would 100% be carrying all day every day.

To and From, YES, automatic dismissal if they found out if you poses outside your vehical. Besides, too many ass kissers that will never wise up to figure out that management uses them as spies. As soon as something goes wrong, it's the shotgun effect, automatic meeting about how something went down and everyone gets lectured but NEVER deal with the individual at fault. Put panniers on my second bike to have a place to secure it.

Yeah, "no gun" policy where I work too. Although it is possible I may have forgotten about the .380 in my winter coat pocket for several months.....that doesn't work now that the weather has warmed up. Maybe I need to get an ankle holster to "forget" about?
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

            I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......
