  • Article Ideas on Customization of the Ruger SP101

So.... I wanted to see if you all thought it would be a good idea to try and do an article on the SP101 that I'm going to have customized? If that's something you'd be interested in, what kind of info would be important to include? (Good quality pics are a given.)

I had thought of trying to get some sense of how the gun performs before and after, but with no kind of technical equipment, I'm not sure how much I could do in that area. Any suggestions welcome, or be honest and say if you don't think there's interest.

    Do it!
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I think it's a great idea. Some thoughts:
        - How much does it weigh?
        - Trigger pull weight DA/SA
        - Ergonomics - how does it feel? (grip, weight, balance, etc)?
        - Looks
        - Felt recoil
        - Accuracy
        - how does it feel to carry OWB/IWB (however you intend to use it)
        - How many people at the range want one too once they see how cool it is?
        - Do you love it?
        - Pics pics pics
        - etc, etc

I don't think you need to be too formal. Just have fun with it.
Ok I can go a couple ways

Maybe go into it as asking if the price of customization is worth it?

Try and cover different points of view. Even using some sort of rest to shoot before and after groups. Before and after of everything changed. Then also at the end would you customize it again if given the choice.

Love the idea. The SP101 is on the list of guns I must have someday, and when that day comes, I'm sure I'll be wondering if I should customize it.
Politicians are like diapers. They both need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
