What color Background do you want?

I actually liked the color scheme of "the other site". The way it is now is a bit bright, and I think reversing it would be just as bad. Somewhere in between would be nice, but I can't give you any specifics, unfortunately.

Black with white text is a little extreme but I do like it a little darker. Hate the colors now, way too bright!

I think a rainbow of colors would be best. Make it as hard to read as possible

But yeah - I like the colors over there "mostly".

I'd probably tone it down a bit.

Maybe finish the logo work and find a color scheme that fits it? That way you can mess with the templates so that they can compliment each other?

I am a color expert with a badge of honer from the international color institute and I tihnk this should be pink! LOL
seriuosly what ever you do avoid black and word association game threads. They seem to attract people from dubious reputation.
And also if we make while on black soon will end up like Stevie Wonder. Although that way some might improve their shooting. LOL

That other sites colors bother the Peshitta out of me. It is the most annoying combination I can imagine. Leave it black on white.

How hard is it to change the color? I say set it to a different color for a day or two, and then try another color scheme for a day or two, etc.

Do you guys have a theme box on bottom left of screen or is that just me (and usmc). Did everybody change to orange? If everyone can change locally why don't we come up with a light on dark and dark on light and let user pick whichever one works best for them? I don't want to do a lot of mods away from default that we will have to manage as vB upgrades the back end though. Thoughts?

Yes, I have different themes there now besides the default themes. They weren't there the other day, but all they seem to do is change the colors of the "Post Reply" button, a few other words, and maybe a header or footer bar. It does nothing to the actual background color.
