I'd love some reloading info. I'm talking even more remedial than Reloading 101. Discussion about the different components, what they are, what the differences are, what they mean and do. Complete and utter basics.

I really wish I could shoot free handed,I would love to be a good marksman able to shoot,I have always wanted to be a good target shooter especial with a pistol..

I agree also I wished I lived closer to everyone here so I can go shooting with you all,I hate trying to go by myself and I do go with the landlord but he sometimes does not want to go so I go by myself but it is not as fun when you have someone to go shooting with..

I will tell you this much and considering I have this issue with shaking, I can out shoot my landlord with my Savage MKII 22LR, Savage 22 magnum at 2 different ranges 50 yards up to a 100 yards and for my pistols I out shoot him with my S&W M&P 22lr and my Berretta 9mm..ranges are between 15 yards to 25 yards

He was so surprised how well I shoot these guns he could not believe how well I shoot, again he and my self both bench shoot..

The best part about this is I am better then him and that is a good thing as he always brags how bad I am and it shocks him that I better then him..

      Lets get back on track...

      Darth,
If you are relaxed just like pointing your finger at something in the distance w/o holding anything, specially a firearm do you find yourself shaking too much too?
Also in the practical world we always find something we can lean against like a tree, or a post or a fence or a wall. These with proper technique, even statnding
can help drastically reduce the movement and the directive is always the same, use your bone structure vs. your muscles.
Even just standing one wants to create a steady rest by curving your back and shoulders so the weight rests on a position where your skeleton is a bit locked up
and then you can start relaxing many muscles. Some folks find useful to hold the handguard with the hand backwards this way it creates an arch that pretty much
forces your two forearm bones to cross in X and lock up when the hand is facing backwards. in this case many tremors might be reduced or totally gone.

Also you might use the hips a bit forward and locked up to see if you can give support to your forearm ...

With a clear firearm try this at home. You can do some shadow training in front of a mirror and see what gives
you more control and feels better.

Keep trying. look for ideas. I found this...

If you have a wall or a post or a tree I can give you some tips and tricks you can be almost as good as bench or prone shooting.

Babysitter shooting might be interesting. I'll settle for MILF shooting as well.

I have a suggestion for you USMC.

It does have to do with rfles and pistols how about a thread dedicated for Air Rifles I do not mean those Airsoft guns that shoot plastic BB's unless someone would like a topic about Airsoft equipment, I am talking about Pellet and BB Guns we can talk about what kind can be bought on a budget yet there good enough to shoot small game as they have now become as powerful as a 22lr enough now they can take out a rabbit and squirrels and other small game animals..I also think there some out there as powerful as a 22 wmr now..

The reason I am saying this as I am sure there is members here who have some,I my self some day down the road would like to get a good air rifle to play with and would like to know what to look for in one..

Would this be something that would work?

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

some modern air rifles are used to hunt big game like bison, moose and bears. 400gr slug at 1000fps .. do the math.
those rifles you do not find them at the gander mt. that is for sure.
