Re: "design by committee" otherwise known as five pounds of blank in a one pound bag. The trick is to be accommodating.....up to a point without the design becoming rediculous. Most of my best work has been pretty simple. My own style is kind of detailed though as my personal logo below shows.

Post that up in the PY thread bro. I'm on phone so really can't look at anything. As far as committee I like what we got just would like text to be crisper. Its awesome. I need a high def version to get some shwag done lol. What side jacket do you wear lol? Thanks again.

I know you talked about the white part being transparent but is that a good idea? That would mean it can't go on anything black, so should the white be left white or use another color for background inside logo?

I think he meant white part around the outside so you don't see a white box with a logo inside. I agree, leave the white inside the shield or change it to something else. BTW, I like this logo a lot. The more I see it the better I like it. Tweaking it is fine but I would like to keep overall theme intact. Thanks again PY.

The crossed pistols had been taken from a photo. Spent yesterday and this morning to do a line drawing of them.
Did first as was the most detailed element.
Working on shield and banner today.

If only those darn pistols didn't have so much detail in them...silly engineers. Just kidding. That by far would be the most work involved. I also like they symbolism of the shield since the idea of a shield is to protect something. Gotta love subliminal messaging
