    Any writers or aspiring writers?

    We have not used the Blog or Article section yet. I was wondering if any of you would like to write something up that a could publish as blog or article?

    I know we have knowledgeable and talented people with a variety of interests and it could be a good way for some people to get into writing. If any of you are interested I would love to read or hear about what you might like to write!

    I wrote a bunch of tech articles for a friend's IT website (open source, Linux, and ITSec stuff) years ago but don't know what I could contribute here. You should get "John Stark" from the other site to come over to the dark side here....bet he could spin some prose if you gave him a place to blog. I'm thinking the "Articles" section would be good for product reviews and range reports, we've got some talent here that's pretty good at writing that kind of stuff.

    I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

      Thanks great ideas! Now would be a good time for some hunting articles too I think, for example hunting ethics or techniques, how to clean certain animals etc.

      Anyone willing to get a hold of john stark to come on over?

            Yeah JS seems like good peeps. Only concern I have is opening up a "Blog" to anything and everything. Seems like we should control content that get's posted there, no?

              I have lots of information including ballistics, reloading, wildcats and shooting in general. you know the long rifle is my thing.

                  And by the way I am writting one on reloading for starters to attach to the reloading sticky. It will take some time but it will be a nice comprehensive read.

                    Only we can publish it C, so it wouldn't be a post for all type of thing. I understand your concern and am thinking .more about people submitting and us approving to throw up with them as author obviously.

                          Hi,
                          If you look at the low end of the spectrum you will find better deals on bullets and use the lowest possible pressure w/o compromising safety.
                          The hornady 120gr sp are affordable bullets and can be loaded to be a joy to shoot. Let me find the recipe for you. You should be able to do
                          this with a wide range of popular powders.

                              I don't reload 7.08 but it is a simple one. I would not go more than 120gr for low recoil.
                              Try the 110gr speer. They have an amazing value with the 600 value pack for $130. Adjust COAL for this load.

                              You can use any of these powders on the starting load spectrum...
