Hey guys and gals, day three (I think) and we're growing faster than expected. I think its coming along great and want to thank each of you for supporting us as we build this into a great forum. The transition from just another poster to site owner is keeping me and USMC busy (more USMC than me, thank goodness, ha, ha)! Eventually we have plans to monetize the site to help offset the costs of running it and to give a little back to the community that makes it all possible. Accordingly, I want to keep content limited to stuff that you or I wouldn't be embarrassed to show your grandmothers or families. At the same time, I really don't want to have to spend alot of time and resources modding this place. The whole premise behind this site is to have a place where good people can come and unwind a bit after a hard day's work, talk guns and related matters, joke around with each other and just have some fun for a while. That's all I ever wanted or expected from any forum.
With that said, we're kicking around some ideas to create a NSFW section of the site that is only accessible to members who request access and certify to us that they are 21 years or older. Things like the Swim up Bar thread would go there and would only be accessible to those of you who request access to it. It wouldn't be a free for all, no porn, nudity, or other matters that may cross the line between good fun and being overtly offensive, but we wouldn't have to over-mod it for an occasional wardrobe malfunction, etc.
Anyway, let us know what you think. In the mean time I would appreciate it if you be mindful of our desire to keep this place family oriented with your posts.
Thanks.
CG
