When: Sometime during May 28th - June 3rd

Where: Stillwater reservoir

What: Camping.

Why: Meet up , talk, check out or try out gear and hell maybe even shoot some!

Who: All of you!

Other: They have sites accessible by boat and they even have one very large site at furthest end that can accommodate groups up to 20.

I will be bringing my aluminum boat so I can help ferry some people and gear. According to internet there is great bass fishing.

I'm sure during those days sometime should work for a few people.

Fair warning is that I have no idea how bugs will be.

So who can make it? Once we know that we can work on logistics.

If you want to go please let me know if you have any type of boat including canoe or kayak or not and we can figure it all out. I also know there are people there that charge reasonable rate to ferry as well depending on interest.

I know you said access is via water vessel, but how far is the hike to the camp site before and after the reservoir?

Friends, family, whatever..... Lots of sites there and even if we're split up meet during days and what not. Sites are pretty much right next landing areas or even car park spots. Parking lot is at launch, they have actual boat launch so no hiking from there. Totally hiking less then 100 feet at most.

Sites are first come first serve so I should be able to save some spots possibly.

this place is very remote and there is place to get fuel I believe at launch since there is a place to rent boats I assume they have fuel. There is lodging there as well and a restaurant.

And yeah I think I'll be up there whole time

I'd be up for some of that for sure! 1 Kayak and 1 crazy hammock camper. Are we locked in on date? As Pink mentioned, the 29th is Memorial Day. So the 28-29th might be packed.

Like I said I plan on being up all those days so if we can come up with days during that time I should be able to snag sites as needed.

First we need head count, then we can figure out how many sites we need and figure out logistics such as which sites were at. I can run a FRS or gmrs radio in my car possibly repeating out site information so anyone coming will know.
