I was thinking a high capacity magazine loaded with the 357 Gunner 250gr SP bullets
equates to 1.14 lbs of lead flying through the air.

In NYS that means 3x10rd magazines will provide this much lead as well.

All the sudden I am not afraid of Zombies anymore! lol.

It doesn't get any easier than that. One could also make it feed from a AR15 magazine if one wants the versatility of this swapping with a 223 hog hunter.

Yes that would be something quite effective for many things. AK47 speeds but with double the power.
As you can see it leaves other popular rounds in the dust. I would say appropriate for moose withing 200 yards or so.
with the bolt will also feed pistol hollow points w/o problems for fun shooting and even some hunting.
If the 357 magnum and 357 maximum can do it imagine this.
It is really a great choice for folks who use 9mm / 357 to keep things in the same caliber.

The gunner is a reality and what a beast that is!!! I cannot stop smiling when I shoot it. So fun !

Here is the data from the 16" test upper load development... We are hitting 2,350fps with 180gr bullets and large 9mm diameter holes...

This thing is brutal!!

recoil is like a 30-30 lever with 180gr or a bit more with the 225grains bullets but between that and a 308w.
Recoil feels ok still. ...but I am a man!!! lol.. overall I am glad I didn't go with the larger case as originally though so this
one seems to be just about right w/o getting uncomfortable to shoot.

Ha. I forgot the 1/2 in the mv**2. Perils of taking the math 40+ years ago.
and my general guage of kick was how many rounds I could throw downrange without my shoulder turning purple. I've discovered that is also variable with age.
