Shotgun drills?

When I was in we didn't focus a lot on reloading shotgun in drills . Once the shotgun was empty we transitioned to pistols to stay in fight and minimize down time.

You'll need to be able to feed the beast fast and effectively next month in MDTS class. I like to load the very front shell primer up to drop in the chamber, and the rest primer down to feed the tube.

I have been trying to feed chamber going under and seems to work well

How about the M-16? Getting to know any weapon you may have to use under less than optimal conditions is what all drills with weaponry is all about. I am interested, why you load the chamber from the bottom?

With shotgun I'm pulling shell down and it's just as easy to move hand under shotgun and put into chamber and hit chamber release plus now my hand can come back easy to side saddle to load more in tube.
