Appleseed schedule for NY, sadly nothing out my way. I shot this last year and it was one of the best experiences I have had since I got into the shooting sports. It's a history lesson, rifle clinic, and all around good time over the course of a weekend with some really good peeps. I learned as much about the American Revolution as I did about marksmanship and had a blast doing it.
If any of you can make one of these events, do not hesitate to sign up. Got kids? Even better! This is the best event you'll find for getting the youngsters into shooting (and history). We had several teenagers shooting the event I attended and they all had a great time (despite the rain and mud). Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
