Does it count as a "firearm" if it's not using gunpowder? Air rifles aren't "firearms" because they don't us powder right? No idea if the primer system makes it a firearm.
Was thinking along those lines as well. This could also be a great way to introduce the shooting sports to folks who are afraid or have no exposure to firearms. If you've ever been with a newbie at a crowded range with howitzers going off all around it can be very intimidating.

LOL! Actually wasn't my range. Before I joined I'd ride out to Wooster Mountain in Danbury. People bring some serious firepower and it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. Mosins on one side of us, .308s on the other and a guy with a Barrett believe it or not. Wooster's only a 50 yard range so he must have been showing off. Was surprised they let him shoot it there.
