Orange County/Down State Training

Can anyone suggest anyone in the lower-NY state that gives good pistol and conceal carry training?

Panzer might but not sure. I've met him and he is a great guy. NRA instructor certification. Chris Fry MDTS is awesome but only has limited schedule in New Paltz. He's worth driving to other locations though. Highly recommended.

Never heard of them and I live in Yorktown.

I have also heard of Stretz, and he also advertises on arfcom... I may try one of his classes at some point just to see, but as you are already aware, MDTS does classes down state. Having attended one of the classes offered by MDTS I can vouch for Chris Fry as being an excellent instructor.

Im itching to take another one of his classes.

Talked to Chris Fry and he is going to try and arrange a Pistol #1 class in New Paltz sometime in the spring.

UPDATE: May 9th date was approved by the club tonight, I will open the class for registration on March 2nd. There will be 14 seats availble.

I heard good things about Ken Stretz. He teaches his class at Blue Mountain which is very convenient for me. I think he has one coming up in March or April and I will probably join.
