Ran into an old friend today turns out he and his wife are owners of RISE in Pearl River NY http://www.rocklandindoorshooting.com. used to be run down and neglected indoor range in Rockland. They took over a couple years ago and have been undergoing extensive renovation. I've heard good things past couple of years about them but had no idea my old friend owned it. Scott is good peeps and would highly recommend checking it out if you're nearby or running through area.

This range is only 5 minutes from my office. Used to be called the Firing Line and was a smoked filled dump. Now it is bright, fresh and a pleasant place to shoot.High Peaks Guru, but prefers twin peaks

I'm trying to line up Pistol Instructor with him in a few weeks. Money has been tight past couple years but timing is good believe my BIT (basic instructor training) course expires 2 days after course lol so am going to try and swing it if I can. Want Pistol Instructor mostly so there are no issues shooting with my boy beginning next year...Comment
