Anyone have any good drills that keep range time interesting while helping to improve skills? Not allowed to draw at my range, so that limits things a little.

Two easy things to try...
1- Shoot at close range as fast as you can and try to score in 3 different points in the target, 2 or three rounds each alternating.
I bet they let you put only one target so pick up a large paper and get creative with it like if it was three heads on top and three torsos below.
if they do not fit then do two. Not sure you can put several targets that would be the ideal.
2- Put a target as far as you can and try to score there see how the trajectory goes to adjust accordingly. It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Here is one for you….
An important skill to have in order to be accurate with your pistol is, "not to move that muzzle".
Next time you go to your range, try this drill:
1- insert your loaded mag and chamber 1 round.
2- remove the mag and keep only 1 round in the gun.
3- fire the shot (slide will not lock back) and immediately pull the trigger again on the empty chamber.
Did you notice any flinching or muzzle movement? Just keep doing the drill until the mag is empty.
Let me know how this works out for you.Last edited by Nicys Firearm Instruction; 04-30-2018, 12:26 PM.

What are your goals?
i like the blindly load a dummy round or two in mags to see if I'm anticipating and you can use it for remedial action drills.
I like shooting dots as well.
Sometimes if I get bored I will make a smile face lol.
Most of the time I take slow shots without lowering pistol until mag is empty. Then I do it again but try and shoot faster while maintaining group size.www.AvidArms.com I'm STIHL out of conditioner!!
Finally joined the ranks of broke homeowner
Am I short stroking or going to fast?
I know he has a bush

Rich Brooks allows multiple targets. I hang 4-6 8†paper plates.
Start slow and close 3-5 yards.
draw and engage all targets 1 shot each.
Repeat going faster without missing.
Don’t be unsafe
Going as fast as you can and never missing!
