    Old S&W 916-T Shotgun Firing Pin Shot OUT?!?!

    Strangest thing happened... I've put about 500 rounds through this old girl and no issues... and she is an old girl. Eastfield brand MFG by S&W 916-T.

    I racked the action and dry fired it and out came the firing pin! I was like "WTF was that." I crawled all over the floor and found what came out.

    Anyone here ever have that happen with their shotgun?

    Yes I have. It was a Remington shotty that I had that happen to. What I had found out is that the firing pin actually broke and I had merely found the broken part that fell on the floor. Luckily the local gun shop had a new firing pin in stock.

    Here ya go incase you need some parts .. also, there is a firing pin retainer screw listed. Might just need to be tightened up??

          I'll do some looking around.... It was so random too. Glad it wasn't at my bedside when someone was coming through the door... Now I have my Mossberg Police next to the bed LoL

            If you can't find one you can mail me the old one and I can make a new one for you on my friends lathe. Just let me know.

              Thanks brother.... I know you have a lot of crap but if you had one laying around Id probably piss myself laughing.
