  • Clay machine

Going for a boys and their toys day with some friends up at my buddies hunting camp in a couple weeks and was thinking about buying a clay machine/tosser (sorry have no idea what these are called). Any recommendations on a decent quality one? Something that will hold up for a few years? Just looking to have some fun doesn't have to be competition level.

Also as far as a base I was thinking getting and old tire and filling it with concrete and tossing in a couple of bolts to bolt it down. This good enough or do they have to be staked into ground?

Haven't we done this once already?
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I had this one and it was great. Not too expensive and can throw in any direction. It can shoot doubles also. It's nice because you can also mount it in a 2" hitch on you truck or use the seat. http://www.doalloutdoors.com/product...k-single-trap/ $130 plus free shipping http://www.amazon.com/Do-All-Outdoor...+trap+throwers
I bought my sons out of state.

I have an old Trius Trap that is at least 45 yrs. old. It is the type you bolt to a tire and wheel and will throw doubles. About 15 yrs ago I modified it to fit the receiver hitch on the truck. Works excellent. Sitting on the tailgate you straddle the bird shooter, case of birds on one side of you, cooler on the other.

                    What's the cooler for????
The red plastic ones you throw by hand work good for what they are and you can send them anywhere you want. Get an extension handle and bolt two together for doubles and throw them hard, a whole new ball game so to speak. You can throw them so they curve, going away, sides ways, coming in and overhead, make them fly horizontal or vertical, even straight up. I guess we just shoot differently over here. Maybe I see where the cooler plays a part in this after all.
