  • Bullpup Unlimited Kit Assembled Last Night

Put this kit on a buddy's 90s era Wingmaster 80 Marine Edition.

Some of you may remember I picked the Chassis up from Carey over at the "other place"

I was beyond pleased with assembly, fit / finish, and functioning. We saw immediately why people are drawn to the bullpup shotgun setups. Clearing hallways and rooms so much easier with shorter overall length. The balance of weight more centered and love it comes with Remington buttpad right on it. Only needed 3 Allen's. Normally people use an 870 Tactical but since he had a Wingmaster we made due. Only modifications that had to be made was removing the front and rear sites. Rear was a flathead screw and front just needed to be tapped out with a punch.

Great way to breathe new life in an old 870 that sits around and or have a shotgun that's just a little different.

That thing looks really cool. Makes me think of Doom for some reason!

Would of been 15 min but since I had to mess with front site and removing it without destroying it....30min.

Looks great! You need to get a nicer grip for it though, that one cheapens the whole thing. What are you going to do for sights or optics?
I bought my sons out of state.

That's awesome!!! Looks like the ejection port is on the bottom of the stock? Have you shot it yet? If so, how does it work? I'm a lefty and this will be on the list if I can do a lefty setup.
          Athiest. Because... science

MBUS Pro sites and who knows what down the road.

It is just a Remington 870 in a chassis so ejection is the same as regular shotgun (on the right hand side) so will not do you any good. The ejection is actually closer then with a standard 870 so may be worse.

I'd really like to get a bullpup setup someday, but the price is rather intimidating at this point.

Sometimes you can find kits for around $200 used and that's a good deal.

The hard part is finding a functional 870 at a good price. But that's not a bad price for the kit. Definitely cheaper than I've seen.

I would love to do this, but I know I will end up buying a new 870 and then doing this. This damn gun hobby thing is expensive!
